Section Master Settings -> Core Settings -> Settings -> Order offers several settings for the order process.
Allow fraction Quantities (e.g. 1.5)
Check this option if you want to offer products whose quantity has to be indicated as decimal number. Examples for such products would be piece goods or liquids.
Min. Order Price (leave empty to disable)
Specify here the minimum amount to be reached by the total of all products added to the shopping cart. If the order value fails to reach this minimum order price, the Continue to next step button will not be displayed on the page for the selection of shipping and payment type during the order process. Instead, a note on the minimum order price will appear.
Show an additional “Order now” button at the top in 4th order step (by default “Order now” button is shown only on the bottom of the page).
If this option is checked, an additional Order now button will be shown above the order data.
Note: this setting should not be activated for German shops due to the “button solution” which was passed by the German Bundestag and came into force on 01.08.2012. This law places clear requirements on shop operators regarding information presented to the customer immediately before he completes the order. The order page must display the products with all their major features. The price and total price of the products including all associated shipping costs must be indicated. For submitting the order, only one single button is permitted which has to be located in immediate proximity of these information. The labeling of this button must clearly point out to the customer that the purchase involves a financial obligation.
Since shop version 4.7.0/5.0.0, these statutory requirements are implemented by default.
Users have to Confirm General Terms and Conditions during Check-Out
Before completing the order, the customer has to confirm that he has read and acknowledged the General Terms and Conditions. Activate this setting in order to query this from the customer.
Further settings for the order process depend on the shop design. For this reason, the settings are stored in the active theme in Extensions -> Themes. Select the Settings tab of the “Azure” theme and click Display.
Here, you can determine whether the order process shall be completed with an order confirmation. In this order confirmation the order number is communicated. Links lead to the start page and the customer’s order history.
Which action shall be performed when a product is added to the shopping cart can be selected from a list. A notification can be displayed right next to the shopping cart. Opening a separate window or displaying the shopping cart itself are two additional options.
