- Security Bulletin 2018-003 (Paymorrow).

System requirements, update and installation
- tested on PHP 7.0 and 7.1
- tested on MySQL 5.5 and 5.7
- works on MySQL 5.6 as well (If you OXID eShop Enterprise Edition there might be a pit fall: please see this blog post for more details: Set MySQL 5.6 optimizer setting “block_nested_loop = off” for OXID eShop Enterprise Edition)
- tested on Apache 2.2 and 2.4
Improvements
- OXID eShop compilation has been expanded by GDPR Opt-in module 2.1.1 which introduces functionality that is used by OXID eShop for being GDPR compliant.
- Additionally, you’ll find Klarna module 4.0.1 in the compilation which provides yet another payment method to allow Online merchants for example payment on invoice or installment sale via the payment provider Klarna.
- The PSR3 logger ‘monolog‘ replaces the former OXID logging mechanism to focus more on present development standards (thanks for the pull request, BTW). Please find the documentation here: https://docs.oxid-esales.com/developer/en/6.1/system_architecture/logging.html
- Modules can now overwrite Smarty Plugins. That’s why we introduced metadata.php 2.1.
- The already introduced GDPR extensions was enhanced with configurable forms to validate only necessary data.
- OXID eShop 6.1 is ready for Personalization Option (EE only) which will be introduced shortly.
- As oxchkversion wasn’t supported from OXID eShop 6 anymore (as it is not necessary), it was removed from the admin panel.
GUI changes
With OXID eShop 6.1.0, there were storefront changes, changes in the admin templates as well as in language files.
Please note that if you use a custom template, all changes made shall be applied to your custom template as well.
