OXID user groups

  • About

As OXID is spreading, many users would like to get in personal contact with other OXID enthusiasts. This is how local OXID User Groups (OUG) are formed.

These groups are open for everyone, from newbies in e-commerce to confessed online merchants, from freelancers to longtime OXID partners.

Check out the listings on this page, and see if there is an OXID user group in your area. If not – why not start one yourself? Post a message into the forums or send an email to editorial-team@oxidforge.org, the maintainer of this page.

  • What happens in a UG meeting?

Actually this is totally up to the members of the OUG, but here is a list of suggestions for activities:

    • Exchange of know-how, experience and best practices
    • Introduce your own shop project
    • Introducing OXID eShop to newbies
    • Tutorials (how do I accomplish this or that in OXID eShop)
    • Talk about how we can support the OXID community
    • Joint work on OXID eShop projects
    • Ideas for new extensions
    • Providing users/customers with local support
